ICSB organized a Blood Donation Program on the occasion of Independence Day

The Dhaka Regional Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) has organized a Blood Donation Program with Bangladesh Lions Foundation, Dhaka on the occasion of Independence Day on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Campus of the Institute at 115, Kazi Nazrullslam Avenue (7th floor), Dhaka-1000.

Mr. A.K.M Rezaul Hoque MJF, PCC, Chairman, Bangladesh Lions Foundation inaugurated the program. While speaking on the occasion, he emphasized on the need and responsibility of the Institutes like ICSB to not only work for professional development, but also for the greater cause of humanity and social service. He expressed his happiness for the initiative like this has taken by ICSB for saving lives of deserving patients at their critical needs.
President of the Institute Md. Asad Ullah, FCS presided over the ceremony. He highlighted on the role of ICSB in providing skill development of the Members and -contributing to the development of the corporate sector of Bangladesh. He also stressed on the responsible roles of Members in serving our society.

A large number of Members and Students of the Institute participated in the program spontaneously and donated blood. Among others the Senior Vice President M. Naseemul Hye FCS, Vice President Md. Monirul Alam FCS, Treasurer Mohammad Bul Hassan FCS and Chairman, Dhaka Regional Chapter Salim Ahmed FCS of the Institute participated in the program and encouraged the Members and Students in their voluntary donation of blood.

Later, the program was followed by poetry recitation and musical soiree.
