ICSB Organized Training on “Mastery on Finance Act, 2026: Changes, Impact & Practice”
Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) conducted training on ‘Mastery on Finance Act, 2026: Changes, Impact & Practice' held at Management FBS Club Limited, Dhaka aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of its members and corporate officials and other professionals.

Mizanur Rahman FCS, Treasurer & Coordinator for the Training on Finance Act, 2026 inaugurated the training session and thanked everyone for attending such a time-befitting training session. He introduced the resource persons and outlined the objectives of the training.
The session was conducted by Mr. Rezaul Karim, Second Secretary (CUSTOM: Policy), NBR; Mr. Md. Nazmul Hossain, Second Secretary (TAX), NBR; Mr. Md. Abdul Aziz FCS, Manager (F&A), Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited; Mr. Hadisul Alam FCS, CEO & Chief Consultant, Hadisul Alam & Associates; and Mr. Dipongkor Dutta FCS, CFO, Divine Mercy Hospital.
During the training, the resource persons provided an in-depth overview of the following topics:
- Changes in VAT & Customs in the Finance Act, 2026 and its impact
- Changes in Income Tax in the Finance Act, 2026 and its impact
- Practice on Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)
- Practice on VAT Deducted at Source (VDS)
- Practice on Individual Tax, etc.
Mr. Md. Nuruzzaman Khan, Former Commissioner of Income Tax, NBR was present as a Guest Speaker. The session concluded with an interactive discussion, where participants raised queries regarding practical challenges and the resource persons addressed them.
A good number of ICSB members and senior officials from country’s leading corporate houses, different professionals attended the training programme. Finally, Mr. Md. Sharif Hasan FCS, Vice President of ICSB handed over the certificates to the participants.
